It is our vision at Whole Yoga & Wellness to offer a variety of adult and children's yoga classes.  In addition, our workshops and classes are intended to prevent illness and promote wellness at all stages of life.  It is our goal to support families and to provide a safe community for our children (and families) to learn and grow.

Our monthly meet and greet for prospective patients is held in our yoga studio on the Third Thursday of each month at 6:15pm.  Registration is appreciated and can be done online by selecting classes below.  The event is free.   We look forward to seeing you and thank you for your referrals! There is no Meet & Greet in December of each year due to the holidays.

Tummy Time
Tummy Time is only offered at WholeKids Pediatrics!
Tuesdays, November 7th - November 28th
9:30am- 10:15am

There are 4 classes in this series. These classes will teach parents to engage with their babies in a relaxing way to promote more time on the belly. With the advent of more devices to hold babies, infants are getting less time on their bellies which can lead to feeding, sleep and developmental challenges. Led by Allson Wessells, physical therapist and lactation consultant so she will share her expertise of movement!

Infant Massage 
Tuesdays, November 7th - November 21st
10:30- 11:15am

This 3-week series will teach you the basics of infant massage. Massage can assist with symptoms of colic, gas and constipation. It will promote relaxation and improve quality of sleep. Finally, the nurturing touch of massage stimulates the infant brain and promotes muscular development.  Led by Dhanu Sant, integrative physician so you'll learn about the science of massage too!

Prenatal Yoga
Mondays, November 13th - December 18th

Prenatal yoga is designed to modify yoga for the pregnant body. The 6-week course will include stretching and breathing to accommodate the changes through pregnancy in preparation for labor and delivery. No yoga experience is necessary. Long time yoga practitioners will also benefit from a more gentle practice. Yoga during pregnancy can ease of the common problems of pregnancy such as: back and pelvic pain, nausea and acid reflux, poor sleep and tension and anxiety.
Prenatal yoga is designed for women in their 2nd or 3rd trimester. If you have any specific health concerns, please discuss these with the instructor. Each class will include postures to promote flexibility, strength and end with relaxation.

Taking Care of the Picky Eater -Cooking Demo & Samples
Saturday, October 14th from 1-2p

If you missed this fabulous workshop, stay tuned for a video link that will be available soon.  You will have the opportunity to learn about picky eating and what to do.  A downloadable file will be available with information and recipes to try.

Adult Power Flow Yoga - On Friday mornings; this class will return to the schedule this fall.  Sweat Therapy! This class will be bringing breath and movement together to create a strong and healthy mind and body.  It is intended to encourage you to physically challenge yourself.  Modifications and extra strength moves are offered.

Toddler and Preschool Yoga  will continue on Saturdays starting in January 2018.  Carmen, our kids instructor, has been recovering from surgery and will be back then.

Nutrition and Yoga series on Saturdays, 10:30-11:30am
Look for upcoming dates for 2018.  
This exciting series incorporates nutritional and yoga strategies to promote well being to improve mental health, address asthma/allergies, reduce back pain and improve digestive function in the respective workshops.  Join us!
